Peer Support - For Individuals with Mental Illness - Salmon Arm and Revelstoke

Provided by Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) - Shuswap/Revelstoke Branch

Peer support provided by trained volunteers.
Looking for support in your recovery from mental illness? Feeling lonely or isolated? Trained peer support workers can help!

Offered as part of the Clubhouse Program, peer support workers are volunteers who have lived experience with mental illness and therefore are in a unique position to offer support to others on their recovery journey. They are able to provide personal and social support, as well as help connect you to community services, supports, and groups related to your interests.

Peer support workers have been screened and selected by the Peer Support Program Coordinator and trained in basic communication skills and peer support.
If you are interested in volunteering or participating in the Peer Support Program, please contact us.
